Fleetfire Timbers “Joyous Gracie”

Heard from Mary Anna…
Hi Debby and Julie!
Attached are photos of Joyous Gracie playing in the snow here in North Carolina.  She just LOVES the snow!
The move to NC has been wonderful for both of us.  Thanks for much for this great little dog!  She entertains me (all the time) and the neighbors, too!
Nemaste,
Mary Anna
Wolf Pen snow 1/10/11:  Gracie moved here from Charleston and just loves snow, even when the snow
is deeper than her legs are long.  Gracie wears a coat to keep the worst of the snowballs from hanging
onto her long hair.  Mom uses a hair dryer to remove the rest.
Gracie’s snow fun continues.  1/15/11.
Gracie is a litter sister to Edie, Sophie and Koyuki

MaryAnn sent…Gracie

Gracie is Edie’s sister…

gracie22008I can watch my mommie when she is in the kitchen – I love her! And she loves me!

gracie12008When I bite it, it says “I love you”. I must be special!!

Note the toy is a rose! We met MaryAnn through the website several years ago. She flew into Minnesota – and right back to South Carolina – to pick up Gracie. Here’s how their New Year’s card read:

Happy New Year, Debby

Just a note to keep in touch and I’ve included a few shots of Gracie. She is still her bossy, loving, good natured, happy, very playful and fun loving little self. She is all about friends – two legged and 4 legs.

I have chosen not to use any of the flea medications on her – but I did keep her free of fleas during the summer using a mix of lavender water, tea tree oil & eucalyptus oil – major miracle in Charleston, SC. She has just started with the ProDen Plaque Off – hope it really works.

I have given several people your website – one was a really nice lady in Senneca, S.C. a few eeks ago who said she was considering a Lhasa Apso for her next pet. I am inclined to get on my soapbox over the benefits of getting a puppy from a good breeder. I am your advocate in South Carolina! Your website is still my source for all things Lhasa. I love the breed!

Sister Act

gracie92007web.jpg

Mary Anna sent this great photo, taken several days after Gracie’s first birthday in September. Several days prior to receiving this in the mail, Toshimi had sent me photos of Koyuki right after her bath, commenting how much she looked like her sister Edie. The only photo I have of their other sister Sophie (I remembered her name Julie!) is from the cover of a magazine, where her owner is holding her. It really is amazing, their resemblance to each other!

As you’ve heard me say for months…or has it been years now…it’s my intention to scrapbook a page for each dog in the Gallery. While the pages aren’t ‘done’, I do place photos, etc., for each dog on each of their pages. To see photos of the Sister Act and/or each sister, hit the links which will take you to the developing pages.

And, I’m on countdown today. I’m signing up for an online organization photo/scrapbooking class, 16 weeks long, designed to help get pages done and things at my finger tips. Registration starts at 2PM, my time and is limited. Keep your fingers crossed!
